Ever since a chance comment on a rugged bit of South Walian landscape led to the birth of The Black Room, I’ve collected photos of locations that might later end up in stories or as locations for films.
South Cerney Airfield and Henley on Thames turned up in The George Kostinen Mystery, burning up two of my dream locations, so I’ve been out scouting again.
Today’s find was The Wimpole Estate and the fantastic folly that sits on the horizon when we get to the rear of the house.
This place is definitely in my top ten for future locations now. The folly, in particular, is crying out for a ghost story or two…
